My name is Theresa, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapist, and my goal is to provide my clients with new and effective tools and coping skills to help them overcome obstacles. I strive to provide a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental environment for all my clients, so they feel comfortable opening up about their concerns. My general approach is client-centered (also known as person-centered), meaning that you are encouraged to contribute to what you would like to explore during sessions. I’m not here to tell you how to feel or what to discuss, I’m here to offer genuine support, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. You can express whatever your thoughts or feelings are without fear of judgement. I will tailor interventions based on your specific needs once we begin working together.
